Outlet Centres

The process of evaluating outlet centres is the same as for town centres and shopping centres

Within the RSPM we account for the different nature of outlet centre catchments: they are geographically larger but achieve lower sales penetrations.

The RSPM also accounts for the impact of all types of traditional retail competition.

Our experience with outlet centres is extensive. Here are some examples of some studies we have undertaken:

Bicester Village:

  • set up and run consumer research to profile
    • catchment
    • consumer spend & visit patterns
  • impact of Bicester Village on the town centre

Whiteley Village Centre:

  • scale of sustainable development
  • model tenant mix
  • sales forecasts, P & L’s & affordable rents
  • 3 year sales forecasts by month by tenant
